Washington, D.C., pictures

I lived in Washington, D.C., for a few years in the 1990s, and I always enjoyed taking pictures of the Washington Monument. I loved the Washington Monument, as it always reminded me of western Kentucky. Anyway, here are some of those pictures, taken in 1998.

And here's a picture of a barbecue restaurant in the Maryland suburbs that was operated by George Starke, who played offensive tackle on some great Washington Redskins teams in the 1970s and '80s.
