Day 13 Standings -- with OES

The United States won nine more medals today, while China managed only three. So the United States now leads China 90-80 in total medals, and 39-37 in gold medals. The United States has not won 40 or more gold medals at an Olympics held outside the United States since the Mexico City Olympics in 1968.

Most importantly, the United States is on pace for its highest Olympic Efficiency Score ("OES") since 1992:
