Over at Slate, Stefan Fatsis updates us on the latest from the National Scrabble Championship.
Years ago, Fatsis wrote a great book about Scrabble called Word Freak. In the course of writing the book, he got interested in competitive Scrabble himself, and actually started playing in tournaments. I think it's great that he's still playing.
