In women's basketball. Huge, huge win for the Lady Cats, who run their record to 15-2 overall and 4-0 in the SEC. They also end UT's SEC winning streak at 36. (Thirty-six? That is unbelievable.)
So this year the Cats have beaten Tennessee in football and women's basketball -- two things that almost never happen. Can they get the sweep with a win in Knoxville on Saturday?
Here's an early-bird candidate for HPKo12: A'dia Mathies, a 5-foot-9 junior UK guard from Louisville Iroquois High School, who had 34 points and nine rebounds last night. With UK trailing by three, she scored the game's last four points.
