Murray St. 75 - 58 Dayton

The Murray State Racers moved to 9-0 after blowing out the Dayton Flyers. Dayton's not bad; they beat Tubby Smith's Minnesota team a couple of weeks ago in a Thanksgiving tournament. Murray adds this victory to its wins over UAB, San Francisco, and Southern Mississippi.

Murray's most difficult non-conference game is next Sunday, when they travel to Memphis. Believe it or not, if they win that game, they could actually go undefeated -- the Racers will probably be favored to win every other game they play this season. I can't even imagine what things would be like in Murray if the Racers got to 20-0.

Speaking of going undefeated, there are only fifteen unbeaten teams left in the country, and three of those teams -- UK, Murray State, and OTIS -- are from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

  2. I had never heard of this Lamont Sleets hoax. As a very committed Dodger fan from the late 1970's, I am very confident that Glenn Burke and those Dodger teams were what made high fives famous.
