Oh, Kentucky

Boone County, Bowling Green, Centertown, Harrodsburg, Louisville, Owensboro, Princeton, Shepherdsville and Simpson County accounted for Kentucky's top economic-development projects of 2010 and earned the state its first American Development Magazine "Silver Shovel" since 2007.

Of course, that's nothing compared to the award won by a 9-year-old from Florence.

Meanwhile, in the law-and-order department, Kentucky's top trooper is a Smithlander, and our superior supervisor of KHSAA sports officials is a Lexingtonian.

Meanwhile, Ale-8-One is in contention for an accolade and needs your vote.

Interesting that the Republican governor candidate's former campaign manager is from the Democratic incumbent's hometown.

Chaos comes to the UIFL and Lynch.

Shutting down in Lexington and Louisville.

Taking off in Sturgis.

Stumping for Owensboro.

Girding across the 270.
