Oh, Kentucky

Another fantastic ongoing discussion at fantastic ColumbiaMagazine.com: Kentucky soft drinks of the early 20th century. There's Dope Cola and Dope Grape out of Campbellsville, either My-Coca or My-Cola of Columbia and My Coca of Lexington.

I think I prefer the uniforms of the Eastern Kentucky Drillers to those of the Northern Kentucky River Monsters.

A Paducahan is vying for police chief in Oak Ridge, Tenn.

"It's like if you told everybody from Lexington that their address is now going to be Louisville."

More government shuffling, consolidating and repurposing.

Bad jobs news from Lexington.

Twitter overnights: Dan Jenkins talks Seve Ballesteros, and Spike Lee talks What's Going On?

Mrs. Runyon-Jones's opus.
