The Masters -- Sunday -- 4 PM

This will already go down as one of the all-time great Masters, just because of Tiger's spectacular charge. The battle between Tiger and McIlroy could end up playing a major role in the modern history of golf:

T1. T. Woods: -10 (63 holes)
T1. C. Schwartzel (RSA): -10 (60)
T1. R. McIlroy (NIR): -10 (60)
T4. A. Scott (AUS): -8 (61)
T4. K.J. Choi (KOR): -8 (60)
T4. A. Cabrera (ARG): -8 (60)

  1. Tiger just misses a birdie putt on the long par-4 10th. So he will stay at 10 under.

  2. I like K.J. Choi, too. The woman who does the taxes and payroll for my business is from South Korea, and she's really nice.

  3. McIlroy makes a HUGE birdie on 7 to regain the lead at 11 under. With 8 -- a true birdie hole -- coming up next, he has a great chance to retake control of the tournament.

Cabrera also birdies 7 and moves to 9 under.

Tiger is in the middle of the green on the very difficult 11.

  4. Tiger eases his birdie putt on 11 to within a few feet, and taps in for par. He will be very happy to have 10 and 11 behind him. If he can make it over Rae's Creek on 12, then he can go on the attack for the last six holes.

  5. Tiger gets a very warn reception from the big crowd at the 12th tee. For now, it appears that all has been forgiven.

  6. I should also point out that Scott and Choi have both gotten to 9 under, so they are still in with a chance as well. But this very much feels as though it will be decided between McIlroy and Woods.

  7. At 4:19, of course, I meant to say that Tiger got a "warm" reception.

  8. Tiger doesn't take any chances with the tricky par-3 12th, but instead puts his tee shot right in the middle of the green.

  9. Meanwhile, Cabrera and McIlroy are stuck in the 8th fairway, waiting -- and waiting -- for Schwartzel and Choi to finish that hole.

  10. Schwartzel and Choi both take pars on 8.

  11. McIlroy's second shot on 8 rolls through the back of the green, and he will have a tough up-and-down to make birdie.

  12. Tiger rolled his birdie putt on 12 about two feet past the hole -- and then misses the two footer coming back. He falls to 9 under.

He has missed at least three of these putts in the last two days -- and those missed putts could end up costing him the title.

  13. "Desperately needs a birdie, if not an eagle, here at 13"?

    Really?
