Kicking It Old School

I'm always happy to see a matchup between Western Kentucky and MTSU on the schedule. Western plays too many games against teams from Louisiana and Florida; it's nice to see them play a neighbor. The two OVC alums will meet tonight at Ed Diddle Arena. Pomeroy is calling this a 72-68 win for Western; we will hope he is right.

    The Lady Toppers--coached by Mary Taylor-Cowles, a former Kentucky "Miss Basketball" from Marshall County--lost at home to Middle just last night. The WKU women are now 10-14 on the season. I'm really rooting for the Lady Tops to get this turned around and for Coach Taylor-Cowles specifically to be the coach when they do it.
