Oh, Kentucky

Todd Hartch is blowing up, and so are Tommy Womack and the Government Cheese. Heath Post Kentuckian of the Year* Rand Paul is, too. But I'm most excited to note Al Baker's blowing up.

Channel 6 reports that the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce's "(t)op priorities for 2011 include lifting the nuclear moratorium ban; supporting the joint commission’s work to get merged government on the ballot for November 2011; and, a building improvement plan for Commerce Center."

Ah, footbah.

A friend of the Paducah dog park. And a friend of ones in Murray and (potentially) Hopkinsville.

A friend of library book sales everywhere.

An interesting company with roots of more than 35 years in Cold Spring has merged with some Texans.

I was thrilled to learn from Kyle Macy that UK has the nation's second-ranked men's tennis player.

I am completely rooting for Alissa Pratt.

Good jobs news from Maysville, but it's still plenty rough out there.

Software solves everything.

Yum! says, "No!"
