Navy had the ball, third and goal at the Maryland 3, with a great chance to tie the game. But a Maryland player made a spectacular play -- leaping across the line almost as soon as the ball was snapped, hammering Navy's quarterback, and forcing a fumble, which was recovered by the Terps. So the state-school kids remain on top.
