We went and saw her at Madisonville's Glema Mahr Fine Arts Center one Friday evening last year. We were just beginning to emerge from the lack-of-sleep-in-the-baby's-first-year throes, and I had had a good week at work, and I thought that maybe, just maybe Virginia would be intrigued by the music, crowd and newness of the event. Alas, this didn't turn out to be true--she was mostly interested in the lobby stairs. But it was still nice to get dressed up and go out together as a family. We bailed after spending $50 and about 50 minutes there. Oh, well, I'm still glad we went, and I enjoy this woman's music a great deal.
