Now developments are fast and furious. Steve Elkington (remember him?) birdied the 16th hole to move into the tie for the lead at 11 under. Then McIlroy bogeyed the 15th to fall out of the lead. On the par-5 16th, Kaymer is through the green in two. On the par-3 17th, Elkington has hit his tee shot through the green and down a hill. McIlroy's drive on 16 is in great shape.
