PGA Championship -- Sunday -- 3 PM (CDT)

As I suspected, Nick Watney is not going to win the PGA Championship. He started with a three-shot lead, immediately double-bogeyed the first hole, and is on his way out of contention. McIlroy is also doing nothing. I now think this tournament will be won by the utterly forgettable Martin Kaymer. He has two things in common with the players who won the U.S. and British Opens: he is not from the United States, and he will never win another major.

What a lousy year for golf.

1. M. Kaymer (GER): -11 (61 holes)
T2. J. Day (AUS): -10 (61)
T2. D. Johnson (USA): -10 (59)
T2. N. Watney (USA): -10 (59)
T5. B. Watson (USA): -9 (63)
T5. J. Furyk (USA): -9 (62)
T5. S. Elkington (AUS): -9 (61)
T5. W. Liang (CHN): -9 (60)
T5. R. McIlroy (NIR): -9 (60)
