NFL Winners and Losers, 2000-2009

Here are the teams with the most regular-season wins from 2000 to 2009:

Indianapolis: 115
New England: 112
Pittsburgh: 103
Philadelphia: 103
Green Bay: 95
Denver: 93
Baltimore: 92
Tennessee: 91

Here are the teams with the fewest regular-season wins from 2000 to 2009 (not counting Houston, which did not play in 2000 or 2001):

Detroit: 42
Cleveland: 57
Arizona: 62
Oakland: 62
Buffalo: 66
San Francisco: 68
Cincinnati: 68

Interestingly, Arizona and Oakland both had trips to the Super Bowl in the last decade, while Green Bay, Denver, and Tennessee all missed the Super Bowl.

Twelve teams won more games than the Cowboys over the last ten years.

The Redskins went 70-90 over the last decade; so did the Chiefs.

  1. i appreciate your cutting off the list of fewest wins before we reached miami.

that's astoundingly dire for detroit--more than one fewer win per season than the next-poorest-performing team.

    hooray for football!
