Pete Thamel reports that Oregon Offensive Coordinator is the target to be the next football coach at Kentucky and sides are working toward a deal.

ReplyDeleteStein was born in Louisville in 1989 and was a quarterback of U of L from 2008 to 2012.
ReplyDeleteStein attended high school at Louisville Trinity, where he led the Shamrocks to the 2007 State Title.
ReplyDeleteJeff Brohm, the coach at U of L, also played quarterback at Louisville Trinity. He was Mr. Football in 1988, and he took Trinity to a state title.
ReplyDeleteWKU's loss at Jacksonville State was heartbreaking after getting out to a 21-7 lead. Now we will see if the Tops get a bowl bid. Western is American college football's all-time leader in Boca Raton (Florida) Bowl invitations.
ReplyDeleteOne ESPN guy has Western going to the Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl to play Southern Miss. The other has Western in the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl, playing Louisiana-Lafayette.
