Mayfield, Russellville, Frankfort, Fort Mitchell Beechwood, Williamsburg, Hazard, Raceland and Pikeville (from top to bottom of the bracket) have played like the eight best teams in Class A all season, and I will be surprised if those teams aren't the last eight standing after Friday's games.

Mayfield's WYMC just noted that, in addition to broadcasting the Cardinals' game with Bardstown Bethlehem, they also will be updating with scores of the Russellville-Louisville Holy Cross game "because the winner of that game is who we'll be playing next Friday."
