I know it's hard to believe that a league would allow such a thing to go on, but it appears there's so much gambling cred at stake that the NFL is willing only to just do box-checking, minor or even helpful punishments against the team. For example, I don't imagine there will be any too much looking into how much the Patriots tampered Antonio Brown out of Oakland; I think everyone would just rather continue praising tough, smart Coach Belichick for shrewdly claiming the league's best wide receiver off the waiver wire (brilliant!).

I wish everyone would quit cheating. It's wrong and no fun. Of course, I don't expect the Patriots or the Russians to quit cheating, but I don't have to (and won't) pretend that their NFL victories or Olympic medals are legit.

OK, I'll shut up now. Let's hear some more about the Patriot Way, how I'm not trying if I'm not cheating, etc.Erichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11218278987255792995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1697242053625998558.post-84361770632583600232019-09-13T18:32:34.118-04:002019-09-13T18:32:34.118-04:00We all know the answer to the Kansas City question...We all know the answer to the Kansas City question.
